Forgot to mention this but for Skybox you can use whatever skytexture available in the resource bundle, but do make it fits to the theme of the episode, i.e. cloudy sky for the 1st, clear or blue-ish for the second, mountains for the third and fifith, and galaxy for the last, just suggestion, you do you.

also please apply it using skytransfer

 

another thing is midi, you can use whatever you want, either from wad or self made, just like last time I discourage using midi's from Doom1&2.

I don't think I'll be able to make and hide a secret exit on my map, but @EagerBeaver has claimed two maps in the episode, so I suggest one of them having a secret exit.

Either PSX Doom's pistol sound and Equinox's pistol sounds are pretty good. Both would probably have to be sped up though.

So to give an update on my progress which is not much, yes i have started working on it but i am finishing wrapping up a solo project as well so i will be giving updates as much as i can.

 

Other wise i am still around, i am slowly working on it while doing other things as well.

Already finished the layout for the most part and filled the map to brim with enemies. Now gonna make it actually fun to play and then start texturing it.

Little Update as I will be gone on vacation for the next week and may not map for a bit after that:

 

E2MAPSECRET (decided on the title between either "Poseidon's Pagoda" or "The Far Place"):

Decided to start the secret map first. Not much as been done besides planning and working on the starting room. I'm planning to fill this map to the brim with archviles and revenants (brutalism be damned) but also full of secrets. It'll be very blue, of course. Image attached is the first room, which took 2 hours to finish.

 

MAP30 (maybe "Afterlife III", but if that's too pretentious, "The Void Consumes")

As the working title implies, it'll be similar to Hell Revealed's Afterlife by Yonatan Donner. Haven't started much on it, just planning out ways to jack up the difficulty.
