Not Rich Sham's gotcha.wad but an older work by Eric Freeman.

First exit, more about figuring out a route, just to see if this map is even possible. I don't think it could have been tested much on UV. I don't think mappers were seriously expecting the player to deal with cyberdemons in 128-wide corridors in 1996.

If you kill the monsters in the blue key room you are likely to run out of ammo before getting past the two mancubi on the yellow key, so I leave them to the end. Progression is then straightforward until the red door, where as mentioned there are two cyberdemons on either end of a 128-wide corridor with a teleporter at one end. My tactic was to have one of them teleport, which gets it stuck in a wall, then run past the other, into the teleporter, killing the first one, and at the same time firing the BFG to clear the room beyond. The second of this pair will also, in time, teleport and stick, after which it can be killed, slowly and safely.

With that set up, I take the secret teleporter in the north-east corner opposite the window, to the grassy area outside, where there are three more cyberdemons. It's luck whether they attack you before you unfreeze from the teleport. With little room to fight three cyberdemons I run around until one of them blunders into the return teleporter. This time I manage to two-shot the remaining pair, then telefrag the third. What actually happened was that the telefrag missed, but fortunately a second attempt worked. You could try to telefrag all three cyberdemons this way but there's always the risk of dying unavoidably during post-teleport freeze.

Finally I return to the start to clear up the monsters in the blue key room, first removing the second of the earlier cyberdemon pair, which like its partner, wandered into the teleporter and got itself stuck.

Hey, FYI, Batman Doom is cl2/vanilla. There are some Boom demos on the page, but they are old and just never got around to marking them incompatible.

I know it's cl2 but I forgot to change the number in my .bat file. There is no need to upload the old ones as incompatible since I rerecorded all of them.
