    Cool to see my wad got a slot in the runners up. I'm actually quite proud of Machete despite it having the shortest development period of my projects. Looking forward to Machete 2's development taking much longer :) Congrats to all the winners!
  3. I'd add more ammo to the final fight since I consistently kept running dry by the end and had to use the shotgun to slowing finish off the remaining revenants, which is pretty tedious. Otherwise, it's a fun opener. I especially liked the double archie room earlier in the map. I finished this map with one cyber remaining since I didn't have any ammo left. Pretty on par with Map22 in terms of cruelty. Had a fun time figuring out how to approach each encounter, good stuff.
  4. Lol no, you're supposed to trip those linedef actions as you enter that area. That's an easy fix though. Thanks for the heads up.
  5. Since quite a few people asked, I'll be extending the deadline for the time being. Ideally, I would like to have all maps submitted by the end of the year, though I'm doubtful that will happen. If you claimed a map slot and have yet to post any status update in the thread, now would be a good time to let me know whether or not you're still interested in mapping for the project, that way map slots can be transitioned to others who want to participate. Thank you.

  8. Good catch! I figured it would be a waste to not use that map outside of the contest. Thanks for the bug reports as well. I always end up forgetting to delete those player test dummies. OP has been updated.
  9. RC2 is now available. Includes some bug fixes. Coop starts have been implemented.
  10. Glad to see people are having fun with the set. I'm keeping tabs on all the bug reports for RC2. Will probably add coop starts as well.
  11. Updated release candidate available. Had to fix a few minor issues here and there, as well as a map breaking issue with Map15. @UUN4 Not sure there's much I can do to fix it without altering the chaingun altogether from it's intended rate of fire. As long as it's not soft-locking the player, it shouldn't be a problem imo.
