which monster do you hate the most?

Probably Chaingunners, Lost Souls, and Pain Elementals.

    Thoughts on Witchaven?

In addition, I'll probably admit the second Witchaven was a partial improvement over the first due to having more weapon and magic variety and a nicer looking final boss and some cooler new enemies, however not by much as a game honestly. It's still a piece of shit regardless. If half of Witchaven's music were nearly as cool, exciting, and badass as C7's and OBC's output, I might have been more willing to tolerate it as a game, but again it still wouldn't improve my opinion on the game by a whole lot either, however I would have had something to respect it for. If Capstone actually had much higher budget and more talented dudes to develop the game, C7, OBC, and Tekwar would have been much greater masterpieces and more appealing to me than it already is (C7 at least) and seeing a full-blown sequel to C7 would have been nice. And Witchaven would have been a more bearable game, but it still probably wouldn't be Heretic or Hexen I or II. Based Opinion Detected.

    Thoughts on Witchaven?

And despite what the majority says, I think Witchaven is the worst Capstone game ever, not Tekwar or even OBC (yeah I went there... bite me).

    Thoughts on Witchaven?

My least favorite Capstone title and boomer shooter as well as one of my biggest sources of contempt and disgust for a game.

    ALIENS: THEDUS BETA RELEASE

Amazing and impressive work with tremendous amounts of effort poured into this project. Always nice to see another well-crafted, well-developed, and well-polished Doom mod spin on the Aliens franchise.
  6. Hey I think I remember seeing you somewhere on Discord? Samsara innit?

Do you know some obscure 1990's PC games?

Okay so a Latin American version of Catacomb 3D? Noice.

Do you know some obscure 1990's PC games?

I believe while by no means as iconic or mainstream as Doom or Duke, Blood and Rise of the Triad are both pretty fairly well-known in the Boomer Shooter community already. Rise of the Triad are by no means all that obscure to Apogee/3D Realms fans. And the fact that RoTT recently got a remaster with new content certainly helps. And while Blood as a franchise seems pretty much dead at this point and have never gotten as far as Duke or even Shadow Warrior or RoTT, it's still fondly remembered as one of the most acclaimed Build engine games. I think Blood and RoTT would only be obscure to gamers who know nothing about FPS games let alone retro ones or people who haven't been exposed to the Samsara Doom mod methinks.

what was the firsrt doom game you played

Just the first Doom on the DOS on some Shareware disk on my Windows 95 in the early 2000's. And played with just PC Speaker sounds.
  10. Well folks I'm back from my week-long ban over a profile post I made as a follow-up to someone's post in a thread that got locked for being controversial.

    Happy Belated Thanksgiving.

Alex Jones has a video game.

Hint: It isn't. I'm guessing you never seen online memes surrounding these individuals? It's about ridiculing them and making memes out of them. Which has absolutely nothing to do with the morality of endorsing their ideologies or actions.

Regarding the game itself, it's certainly no Super Mario, Zelda, Sonic, Metal Slug, Contra, nor anywhere near being high art itself or even that great of one overall in and of itself. But I think I've seen much worse and cringier in terms of quality. The game looks alright. I think the cringey part mostly comes from Alex Jone's voice in trying to advertise the game. But that's just me doe.

Apart from Alex Jones, I don't see a significant difference between all the individuals I listed when it comes to the inherent darkness that lies within their heart (you can probably argue that Bibi and Bush 43 are more tame or less psychotic as a person than the rest here, but that's like being the tallest kid in preschool). Edit - I forgot to add Mao Zedong to the list. And maybe Hitler and Stalin.

How so mate? Yeah he has a cult of followers who believes his every words and that's unfortunate. But like I said, I doubt most people on YouTube who watch him and laugh at the memes actually unironically believe whatever he says to be the gospel of truth. For me, laughing at Alex Jones is like laughing at Osama Bin Laden, George W Bush, Bibi, HAMAS propagandists, Kim Jong Un, Xi Jiping, and Vladimir Putin, but on a much lesser and more localized scale. Yeah that being said, Alex Jones needs far more self-control and not have the foot in his mouth disease again.

I think the main appeal in his humor is that it's often utterly wacky and hyperbolic, not intending to make much sense if any, which makes for great soundbite to put in a shitpost or memes. And his supposed rants taking the piss out of sjw's, political correctness, "the deep state", authoritarian government, and establishment politics, you know things that most people online also make fun of, even if they're all kinds of incoherent bordering on cringeworthy at times. I think the whole "Sandy Hook" thing was definitely overstepping a lot of boundaries (and anyone who thinks it isn't real is being stupid or delusional) and I heard the dude was suffering from serious psychosis or just had a foot in his mouth while whoring for attention. Or both. Otherwise, the trick is to simply not take him seriously at all and just see him for what he mostly is to most other people online: a goldmine of conspiratorial memes, whether you like them or not. And avoid overanalyzing it too much. He's just a dumb silly radio man shouting to the clouds providing a sea of memes for shitposters like myself. I doubt most people who watch him and laugh at him actually believe what he says is actual truth. Accept it and move on. That's all it needs to be said.
