Description: |
Load this WAD into DOOM II (i.e. DOOM2 -FILE AMBIENT.WAD), in the "Options /
Sound Volume" menu turn the "SFX Volume" all the way up and the "Music Volume"
all the way down, select "Fist" and punch one time. I figured that this WAD
might give authors some ideas for adding ambient sounds to their levels. |

| This .wad file replaces some of the ambient monster "searching" noises with church bells, howling wind, thunder etc. When you punch, the monsters in the level come to life, but because they're hidden you get the impression of environmental audio. It's a clever idea that must surely predate 1997, and it's obsolete nowadays, buy the sounds are handy. | x |
