Took a while but I finally finished episode 2. I'm a man of very few words but here are some thought about the episode:

Finally finished E2M3. Cant say i like toxic areas but this wasnt too bad and I found a missing texture in this secret. Also nugget doom crashes on E2M4 for me.

Ultimate Doom "In Name Only" - On IDgames

I started playing this recently and will be uploading the videos to my youtube channel. The first video is E1M8 because E1M6 is when I started thinking about recording and E1M7 is what really convinced me to do it. The first video has a bit of an audio issue but on the other maps i uploaded so far (E2M1/M2) it should be fixed. Its not saveless, its not 100%, it has no commentary, its just me playing badly on ultra violence and regretting choosing this difficulty. The final map of episode 1 was probably the hardest so far which caused to rage quit for a bit and when I came back I used noclip/god mode to look around the map but after that I did it in the first try... which I wasnt recording and had to do again but I did it without a problem next time as you can see in the video. I know I'm not very good but I hope this has some, if minimal, use to you folks.

    Hotels and other repetitive themes

While thinking about a map i had an idea involving a couple hotel rooms and how i could make something interesting out of it. However, you cant really make a entire map be just two hotel rooms (unless you don't mind a two minute adventure), but an hotel itself is just a bunch of near identical rooms connected by a corridor so unless you start doing some crazy things with each room everything will look too similar. So i was wondering what can be done to an intrinsically repetitive theme to make it more varied while still following it, supposing such a thing is even possible. An idea i had, which wouldn't completely fix the problem but would probably help alleviate it, is to have multiple author working on a single map. i feel like having multiple authors would add variety to the concept with new ideas and mapping styles and it would be interesting to see their take on it and how they can blend it together with other people's work. And the contribution could be as small as a single room or as big as an entire floor or maybe even something like other hotels areas such as the reception or pool.
